Connect with Slime VR
Download and install SlimeVR
SlimeVR is currently the largest open source FBT for VR. It provides a very rich and convenient FBT application connection. You can easily download and install SlimeVR Server from Github.
Start Excap Studio
You can download and install the latest version of Excap Studio from Elecholic Tech, then install and start Excap Studio. By default, all data transmission is turned off at startup. It is highly recommended to start the data transmission mode selection after all trackers are correctly connected. You can select the data transmission model in the upper right corner.
After connection
After connecting to Slime VR correctly, 8 trackers will be displayed in Slime VR Server. It takes about 10 seconds.
In this mode, Excap Studio only works as a data router, tranfers track data to SlimeVR. All operations need to follow the SlimeVR instructions, and no more operations need to be done in Excap-studio. https://docs.slimevr.dev/server/configuring-trackers.html
